The Students’ Non-standard Thoughts and Their Instructional Value

Abstract:
In order to make the students develop initiatively in the instructional process, the teacher should pay enough attention to the students’ real thoughts, especially their thougts (non-standard thoughts) that are different from the teachers prescribed thought. These non-standard thoughts are surely to occur in the instruction; we should see that they can offer valuabe opportunities and become educational resources. If we can make enough utility of them, they can produce much: tapping the students’ intelletual potentials, training their thinking, developing the capabilities of making decision for themselves and the attitude of learning initiatively.
