享誉世界的基尼斯文化工程
中国常德诗墙是常德市委、市人民政府于1991年采纳市政协提案,以城区沅江防洪大堤为载体,历时10年修建的一座具有鲜明艺术特色的大型文化工程。
诗墙全长6华里,临江而立,楼台点缀,气势恢宏。分《百代沧桑》、《名贤题咏》、《武陵佳致》、《兰芷风华》、《华夏新声》、《五洲撷英》六大篇章,选刻自先秦以来有关常德的诗作和中外名诗1267首。诗词用书法形式表现,由全国包括港澳台在内的948名书法家书写,真、行、草、隶、篆集于一墙,精彩纷呈。其间刻嵌43幅精美的中外石壁画。各大篇章墙名和篇名,分别由我国当代著名书法家赵朴初、沈鹏、启功、颜家龙、孙其峰、王学仲和萧娴、张仃、臧克家、方毅、陈天然等题写。曹禺、舒同、吴作人生前也分别作了“武陵风流”、“江山如画”、“风景这边独好”的题签。
诗墙以其丰富的文化内涵、积极向上的思想内容和精美的艺术形式吸引着八方来客。当代诗、书、画界誉它为“三绝诗书画”、“亘古展开的艺术长卷”、“名邦首创”、“中华一绝”;台湾著名诗人余光中称它为“诗国长城”、“半部文学史”;国家版权部门认为它具有很大的开发利用价值。2000年3月和4月,中华诗词学会和中国诗人(新诗)分别组成考察团赴常德实地考察,都赞誉“诗墙堪称‘环球第一墙’!是我国当代文化建设极具创造性的伟大工程,开创了当代文化建设特别是碑林文化建设的先河”。
2000年9月5日,上海基尼斯总部正式对其命名“世界最长的诗书画刻艺术墙”,使它载入了世界文化工程的史册。
INTRODUCTION TO THE POETRY WALL
Changde Poem-Engraved Wall in Changde, Hunan, China, is a large-scale cultural project of striking artistic characteristics. It is based on the urban section of the newly-built flood control embankment of the Yuanjiang River. And the project, lasting ten years, was launched in 1991 by Changde Municipal Committee of the CPC and the Municipal Government at the proposal of the Municipal Peoples Political Conference. Facing the river and stretching as long as 3 kilometers, the Wall is grand and imposing with the embellishment of towers. 1267 poems since the Qin Dynasty(221-206B.C.) Concerned with Changde or noted at home or abroad are selected and engraved on it. They fall into six chapters, Changes in Changde over Centuries, Celebritiesˊ Incriptions Concerned with Changde, Beautiful Natural Scenery in Changde, Outstanding Natives and Local Customs, Big Events of China, and Great Poems from Other Countries. They are written in regular script, running hand, official script, seal character and cursive script in Chinese calligraphy by 948 calligraphers from all parts of China, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, with 43 stone-wall carvings embedded. The name of the Wall and the titles of chapters are inscribed by well-known modern calligraphers, Zhao Puchu, Shen Peng, Qi Gong, Yan Jialong, Sun Qifeng, Wang Xuezhong, Xiao Xian, Zhang Ding, Zang Kejia, Fang Yi and Chen Tianran. The late artists Cao Yu, Shu Tong and Wu Zuoren left inscriptions there. With rich cultural meaning, positive ideological content and exquisite artistic from, Changde Poem-Engraved Wall draws visitors throughout the country. It is thought by the modern circles of poetry, calligraphy and painting to be unique in these fields and unique in China. It is referred to by Yu Guangzhong, a noted scholar from Taiwan, as“a Great Wall in the poetry world”, and “a history book of Literature”. Its value has been affirmed by the state copyright office. After an on-the-spot investigation, in spring, 2000, representatives of China Society of Poetry and Ci commented that the Wall is the First Wall in the world, an original project and a forerunner of the construction of forest of steles. On September 5, 2000, the Wall was named by Guiness, Shanghai Headquarters as the longest wall of the art of poem-engraving in the world. Thus, it will go down in history as one of the distinctive cultural projects in the world. |
